FRIDAY FIFTY SIX (56) - BONDI BEACH BOYS BY RHIAN CAHILL

The Friday Fifty-Six(56)

The Friday 56 is hosted by Freda's Voice.  Here are the rules:

  • Grab the book nearest you.  Right Now
  • Turn to page 56.
  • Find the fifth sentence.
  • Post that sentence (plus one or two others if you like) along with these instructions on your blog or if you don't have your own blog, in the comments section of this blog.
  • Post a link along with your post back to Freda's Voice.
  • Don't dig for your favorite book, the coolest, or most intellectual. Use the CLOSEST.

    My Friday 56:

She burned with an ache foreign to all she’d known, an ache that threatened to be her undoing. But with the ragged edge of desire came the slice of pleasure, and with every soothing breath she drew into her lungs, she knew she’d never be the same again, never know the sweet innocence in which she’d lived before now.

     So, what's your Friday 56?
